Today I had a day off from my new job, and my husband had his normal day off.
I have a bucket list of interesting places to visit and we decided to go try one of those places out today after spending the morning getting errands completed.
The first place we went to see was called Seven Seas Park in Sunnyvale.

The big feature of this park is that the play structure is designed to look like a pirate ship. Bruce loved all the cannons because the backs were designed to slap like drum. That way they can boom!
The main ship is surrounded by island like features.

I loved that this park had lots of shade and plenty of places for parents to sit.

There was also a nice splash pad and a gated park for smaller players. Surrounding the playground was a big Field, basketball courts, a dog park, and a little walking path.
While we were letting Bruce play I checked my Instagram feed and saw that my friend posted photos from this place called Android Statue Park. I’d never heard of it before but it looked amazing. I realized it was only 4.5 miles away from us, so why not!?

This little spot is tucked away among all the Google buildings. The statues all represent various Android releases.
Getting out of here was so hard because of the traffic. So many Google employees on Google bikes. Google traffic conductors. Google shuttle. Bike valet. Google everything.
After that we stopped at the mall for dinner. I found a place with Vegan tofu bowls and giant tofu spring rolls! The best.
We had a fun day together!Location: Sunnyvale
